I have been spending the summer teaching a math class to kids ages 8-12. This wasn't just any math class, it was Mighty Math! With kids of mixed ages, I decided not to place emphasis on computation. We focused on number sense, patterns and geometry. All students made a Mighty Math book where they recorded their findings throughout the course!
