The Frauenfeld Marathon is the only race I have ever seen that starts with the firing of a real live cannon. Check out this video

The weekend after the Frauenfeld half marathon, I travelled to Amsterdam to visit, Krysten. Amsterdam, the land of bicycles, stroopwaffles and gouda, is one of my all time favorite cities.
