I packed my backpack, grabbed my bicycle and hopped a train to Vichy, France for three weeks in July 2009 where I attended a French immersion course. I also lived with a family. I was there for Bastille Day, hence the fireworks. I was the only native English speaker in my French class which can be seen in the group photo. Took lots of nice rides around Vichy, including Thiers.
